Crawford County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, retrieve an official booking file, or change a jail, police, or court record. For an official answer, contact the agency that created or currently holds the record.

Start With the Record Holder

The right contact depends on the custody state and the record type. The Sheriff’s Office is the verified local route for the county jail roster, a booking photograph request, and a focused FOIA request. A city police department holds its own arrest or incident report. The Circuit Clerk and Judici show the public court case and disposition when available. State, federal, and immigration custody are separate systems.

Clerk information and Judici case search

For a written Sheriff request, identify the person or case if known, the date range, the exact record sought, the preferred format, and whether a fee waiver is requested. The form lists electronic contacts and asks for requester details. Keep the request and the agency response. A deadline to respond is not a promise that an image exists or that every part can be released.

Where to Look for Each Need

These routes answer different questions. A missing result in one system does not prove that no arrest or custody event occurred. A person may have been released, transferred, booked under another jurisdiction, protected by a confidentiality rule, or recorded under a different spelling.

Questions about a court result should go to the Circuit Clerk or the court system. A booking charge, bond amount, and court date do not establish the final disposition. An arrest is an accusation, and court terminology should be checked against the official docket.
